Online lessons: HKD800 per hour, held over Google Meets

In-person lessons: customized rates depending on location and timing.

By the way... why is a sustainability consultancy offering chemistry tutoring?

Chemistry is a crucial part of the underlying understanding of sustainability. Basel's work in corporations often involves getting to grips with infra-red spectroscopy, the carbon cycle and polymer plastic pollution - all topics that appear in the chemistry syllabus.

Real-world climate solutions rely entirely on chemical principles, and will need well equipped scientists to deal with them.

In other words - I am already something of a chemistry teacher to corporates, and extend that offering to students, who will need these skills in their graduate roles!

About the tutor

Basel Kirmani studied chemistry at the University of Cambridge, where he obtained both his bachelor's and master's degrees. His first experience in tutoring chemistry in Hong Kong was in 2005.
